About me
Yasuhisa Tamura, Ph.D is a Professor of Sophia University in Tokyo. He obtained his master degree in computer science from Sophia University (1987). After joining Hitachi, Ltd. as a researcher, he obtained Ph.D in software engineering from Sophia University (1996). He was an Associate Professor in Sophia University (2001), a visiting Associate Professor at Tübingen University in Germany (2004), and promoted to Full Professor in Sophia University (2014). His current research area includes learning technology, digital transformation of learning, and learning analytics. He is a director of the Japanese Society for Learning Analytics and ICT CONNECT 21. Also he is a member of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC36, an international standardization organization committee for learning technology. He was Vice-Chair of the Faculty Development Committee in Sophia University (2011-2022).
